Dr. Emre Gönenç Baygöl was born in Bandırma. He completed his medical training at Uludag University’s Faculty of Medicine and successfully completed his Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialization training at Bezm-i Alem Vakıf University.
In addition to the thousands of surgeries he performed during his residency training, he was accepted as an "observer" in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin. He also performed about 50 cleft lip and palate surgeries within a week within the scope of the Yemen aid program, collaborating with the team of "Doctors Worldwide".
Dr. Baygöl won the first prize with his specialty thesis titled "Reconstruction of Bone Defect in Rabbits with Mesenchymal Stem Cell Implanted Decellularized Bone Graft: Bio-Bone" with his presentation at the congress organized by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association.
